Cool. Hopefully this will swing things back from the general leftward slide of the court. She is light years better than R.B. Ginsburg, but I still have concerns. Mrs. Barrett seems to be a textualist rather than an originalist. Her court rulings, according to someone I trust who read them, seems to side with whatever law the government passed, Constitutional or not.
Still this is a victory; replacing RBG with someone more right leaning. Mrs. Barrett wasn’t really in a position determine Constitutionality until now so maybe I’m just worrying over nothing.
Watched a great video of McConnell methodically deconstructing the Dems’ arguments about Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation yesterday on Townhall.com. The article title is: “Must Watch: McConnell Schools Democrats on Consequences of Their Endless Escalations in Judicial Wars”. You can watch it here: https://tinyurl.com/McConnell-rips-dems
For me, this single sentence sums up McConnell’s point:
“We live in a constitutional republic. The legitimacy of an outcome does not depend on the feelings it provokes in politicians. Legitimacy comes from precedents, rules, and ultimately the Constitution.”
An empty long gun is still a weapon. But dollars to donuts he doesn’t know how to use it. (I know, outdated expression. Taken literally that’s depressingly close to even odds these days.) Miral intended to give the shotgun up, planned where the other five shells were going to go. If Paul is right about Ginny, at this point that would be kill stealing.
I’m of two minds about Justice Barrett. I don’t think DT did anything wrong, either now or four years ago. He was just doing his constitutional duty both times. I DO think that what McConnell did demonstrates just how wrong he was four years ago. This action by the Senate was wrong only in that context. THAT one was the one that was wrong. On the other hand, Barrett is a marvelous choice. I loved hearing her school the Democrat senator on the difference between a protected natural right and a civil right was wonderful. I am happy she is there, but absolutely sick of how the Senate conducts its obligations to the country and the Constitution.
I am also very curious what Mala’s new blade is made of. The times I have seen steel make colors like that, it indicated heat damage, burning if you will. I doubt that is the case here. It sure is pretty though. And looks as well balanced as she says.
Not for sale, Mala. It must be matched to the perfect owner
?? did you change Miral’s face.?? something looks different…
or is it my imagination ,, just cuz we have such a close up.?
an another item sells itself …
Nope, it’s the same face. You haven’t seen her smile for a while.
I might have messed with her hair to try and make it fit better, I’m not sure.

Has Wildcat trimmed her claws?!? They don’t look any longer than Terrain fingernails…
no, not claws,, cats have terrain fingernails.. just black for the most part.. (i haven’t seen other color…)
Stupid Autocorrect. I really doubt you both spelled Terran wrong.
