huh.. one is skimming… but which one.?? ( im guessing #2 Sam, Internal… cuz #3 Glenn, Military, is always watching,, an knows he is being watched.. an #1 is… “no really , Sam is the only messy desk..”
hehe,, he (Dad) may be in charge ,, but the Commandant has spoken.!!
o.0 .. glad i could help.. with my idle prattle ..
Cat-man misdirect never happen. HAH. I think Sam is probably misdirecting to some extent. He is the only one with old time files and also the only one who seems to brown bag his lunch. Dedicated or cooking books at lunch.
Glenn would probably be the easiest to to fudge the books because he said everything is a mess. There does not seem to be be any oversight of anyone’s job. No-one has any more ‘power’ than anyone else with the exception of
Mr Barami who I don’t think would be able to keep track of all the bottom lines. Earlier his was the best run department (when Jonathan took his daughter away) he was acknowledged to have the best at that time.
Although he could be smarting from that insult. I am surprised the Captain didn’t jump and salute.
PeterCat, the only gun control I believe in is teaching people proper and safe gun handling, as well a proper maintenance and how to aim and shoot properly.
As to who the problem is in accounting, I’d have to say Sam.
Not because of the messy desk, lunch bag of what not, but because he didn’t look Mafia in the eyes when talking to her.
It’s an unconscious reaction that when someone tells a lie, or is lying, they avoid direct eye contact.
Sam was the only one who didn’t look her in the eyes when discussing what he did.
You need training to be able to look someone in the eyes when lying.
Either that, or be a high functioning sociopath…

My guess is Glenn, he’s the one who was giving her the evil eye when she first walked into the department.
Possibly. Or Cat-man did a good job of mis-directing.
Cat-man misdirecting,, say it isn’t so.. he would never do that…. 🙂

I looked at that frame with Sam THREE TIMES before I saw the brown bag. *shakes head* going back to my writing now!

I hadn’t gone back through all the strips looking for clues, but the lady Herrat’s absence until now had me suspecting the captain was a widower.
