What REALLY bugs me is, when multiple papers about climate change, using data in the same areas, measuring the same pollutants, come up with different results.
Also, amplifying the effects of certain pollutants, to magnify the dangers that they present. While I can’t really say that what is being done is exactly lying, it is a form of exaggerating the problems that exist.
Dr.Fauchi appears to be giving us the best data he can, with what he has to work with. In his case, I think I he’s fun into GIGO problems. (Garbage In, Garbage Out)
The World Health Organization? The less said about them, the better. Although, using the Spanish Flu as a model, they may be right, as to the worst being yet to come..
Soooo… How do you vet someone who hasn’t been on Earth for very long?
Bill works for Admiral Borogrov. And Imogen does a lot of business with the Navy. Hmmm…
I figured the figure in the marine armor was human. I did not figure it was Shama Herrat — dunno if Lieutenant is still accurate. It IS obvious in retrospect it was no marine. I should have picked up on that.
I have to admit I am surprised no Lamian has uttered the word ‘turncoat’, or some equivalent, yet. They seem quite at ease with captured military being absorbed into the opposing forces rather than remaining POWs. Maybe disdain for the ruling elite runs deep in their populace below the upper crust, so that they really don’t see these conquerors as being any worse, or identify with them any less, than the old rulers. If so, the old propaganda ministry should be fired, or hailed as heroes by the new order.
The term “other son” was not considered worthy of comment by anyone present. Says a lot.
Well, almost no one on Lamia knows yet that their military is being absorbed into the Empire.
But they do know that the Empire has a fairly high opinion of their soldiers.
The poor Admiral on the spot is having to do all of this on the fly, as she did not expect her visit to spark a revolution. She’s getting a bit frazzled trying to keep up.
Much less a revolution installing a President who seems to want a good relationship, in no small part due to Loria.
A lot of plans are going to have to change as a result.
Like I said, Bill knows about Catians… Well, at least one…
I see a lot of disturbing parallels with Aly… Letting life crush your dreams…
‘When I don’t know something, I should listen to the people who do.’
BUT FIRST I AM GOING TO VET THE HELL OUT OF THEM AND DO MY OWN RESEARCH so I don’t end up looking like a fool.
World Health Organization.
Dr. Fauci.
Most ‘climate scientists.’
Biden.
……. ok Biden is out (way, waaay the Hell out!) but you knew what I meant!
