Great coffee cup. Miral is in a tight spot, trying to keep her guys alive and kill everybody else. I hope no friendly fire, but… If anyone can she can. Hover and spray maybe.
It looks like they’re pinned down and the badguys are all on the other side of that rock they’re using for cover. Couldn’t Kelly (or one of his men) put the smoke grenade on top (or just on the other side) of the rocks and Miral and co. attack the slavers in the area away from the clan? The rocks should shield Kelly and co. from the IR of the napalm. HE and strafing runs should make the slavers keep their heads down to allow our troops to retreat to where the clans are. Or they could drop a couple of napalm loads and start a forest fire while the good guys huddle under the shiny mylar emergency blankets which SHOULD be in their packs.
..should be in their packs… an you “KNOW” the typical Grunt… ((takes back armor plate out an puts in foot locker,, “in my 10 patrols i never used it once.! im Not carrying that extra weight..) gets shot in the back.!!))
in Desert Storm the typical pack (load out) you were carrying, “should” weigh 110lbs,, but most grunts paired it down to 70lbs,, an most of that was ammo…. an in a few , they ditched the ‘issue’ an carried light weight knock off.. IE: garden trowel instead of e-tool..
Kelly only has three men left out of the 24 he started with. The enemy is all around them, and has already bypassed them. He has nowhere to retreat to. He could pop smoke, but by the time it filtered through the trees, his location would be indistinct and too many of the enemy would survive.
He knows he’s dead, no matter what happens. His concern is with the clan behind him.
.. yellow shirt… IF you have any THING to say.. it better be good , an from the heart.!!!
oh, goddess ,, that’s gonna tear her up.!!!

I guess I’m the slow one in the class. Can we get a reference back to why yellow shirt is wearing his necktie upside down?
It starts at TGW-418, but the relevant pages are TGW 442-443.
Thank You
